Phone-based wallets on supported mobile-money networks.
Overview
A Mobile-Money Account represents a user’s phone-wallet on a supported network. It can be used to collect incoming funds (e.g. stablecoin conversions) and to disburse payouts. Each account is tied to a country code, network operator, and phone number. Optionally, link it to a Recipient for better organization.
Create a Mobile-Money Account
To create a mobile-money account, call POST /mobile-money-accounts with the following fields:
- account_name: Friendly label for the account.
- country_code: One of
KE,GH,TZ,NG. - network: Choose from networks available in your chosen country (see table below).
- phone_number: International phone number.
- recipient_id (optional): Link this account to an existing Recipient.
Each country supports a limited set of network operators for collections and disbursements. Ensure you choose a network available for your desired service in the selected country.
